Awww yeah! There’s too much goodness up in here right now. Please…come with me and enter into the splendor of this Toasty Ezekiel Bread Sammich. It even has a warm egg on it. And ya, I made it at work.
I have a few things tucked away in the work fridge (and freezer!) for when I forget to pack my normal lunch, so I foraged for what I had on hand and made it into something really yummy. It took me less than 5 minutes to pull the whole thing together.
Look how easy this is to make (workplace version):
1. Toast the protein-rich Ezekiel bread and smather with a small dab of butter
2. Add one scrambled egg from the microwave (I cooked mine 50 secs)
3. Add lightly salted tomato slices
4. Top with avocado
5. Salt & pepper to taste
When Matthew saw my lunch on my Instagram page, he asked me to make it for him at home with bacon on it. As you can imagine, the bacon elevated sammich to a while ‘nother level badass.
Now get ‘ta gettin’, and make yourself this sammich! You won’t be disappointed if you try this. I promise.
