I really didn’t expect it from this can-ohhh-soup. And I almost didn’t buy it since it was priced at close to $3. But that’s a relatively cheap lunch compared to buying an overpriced crappy meal from the work cafeteria. I had been keeping my can of Amy’s Mushroom soup in my desk drawer as an emergency meal because I knew this day would come….the day I forgot to pack my lunch. Dun-dun-dunnnn!!!!
Amy’s Organic Mushroom Bisque Soup, despite being a bisque, is actually nice and light. It has just enough creaminess so that you’re not missing the bisque-ish feel, yet not so heavy that you’re left feeling like a mega-oversized water balloon rolling down a steep hill. The flavors are very clean and, although I did choose to add a dash of salt, the mushroom taste comes through wonderfully. You can tell from the very first slurp that it’s not with a bunch of additives, and my hungry stomachs were extremely grateful for the generous amount of porcini mushrooms. Amy’s did not skimp on that whatsoever.
