I am so tired. How are you doing today? I stayed up way too late last night and when my alarm went off this morning I felt like I had just went to sleep. Boo. But at least I stayed up having fun and eating good food!
Last night I went out for sushi with a friend. I was ‘forced’ to try sake and it’s not my jam. Does anyone out there like hot sake? I like cold drinks, the colder the better actually!
I had a major food revelation though – I think sushi is the prettiest food ever. Look at this stuff? It’s like a delicious work of art. We sat at the bar and I watched as the sushi chef made one beautiful creation after another. Everything he sent out was gorgeous and all the rolls we had were so good.
Vegas didn’t have sushi, but he did get a lot more sleep than me. Lucky.
This morning I woke up bright and early for a run with Charlotte aka CCCLBC on Instagram. She drove all the way down to meet up for a few miles this morning!! Super super sweet of her considering I like so south.
We did 3 miles out and 3 back for a total of 6 – I’m breaking it down like that to point out that I warned her, “It’s all slightly uphill on the way out, but we’ll get downhill on the way back and it will be awesome!”
Well, I don’t think she believed me because she claimed I was trying to kill her with the hills and our pace.
Hello, I am not trying to kill you because now that I know you are willing to drive out to come run with me I want you to do it all the time. Same time tomorrow? Thanks!!
But the running angels gave me a little punishment for making her run uphill…
My sports bra bled through my shirt and turned it pink!
It also turned my skin pink so now I have a permanent sports bra tattoo. Fantastic.
I’m going to look into tattoo removal. Or taking a shower. We’ll see…
