I am still getting over the last of my soreness and really trying to do my best. It’s not easy, but I’m doing what I can.
Since it was Veteran’s Day I realized my mom and lil brother had the day off and headed to the house. My mom had brought home a watermelon that my aunt and uncle found growing in the backyard of their new home. We had no idea if the previous owners had taken care of the lil watermelon patch or if it was good or bad or what.
But since I am OBSESSED with watermelon my fam gave it to me.
Sadly, it was either super not ready to be picked or not watered enough or something because it was basically like a cucumber inside. Womp womp womp. I was bummed.
The lil puppies wanted to see what all the fuss was about though.
After that lil bump in the watermelon road I took my little brother (who is actually like 5”10 at this point) to the mall to play in the arcade.
There are so many mountains around here! I love SoCal.
I walked around the mall while he played and scored some new workout clothes. I’m pretty excited about that. Merry Christmas Monican!
And to balance out the watermelon sadness, we shared a soft pretzel.
I think hot pretzels and puppies cancel out any watermelon sadness, don’t you?
