Remember how I ran the Revel Canyon Marathon this weekend with SkinnyRunner? Well, my quads are trashed and my shins are super super tight.
So, I tortured myself with The Stick after a short walk. The thing that upsets me about the stick and foam rolling is that it’s extra unpleasantness… like, isn’t it enough that I ran 26.2 miles?! No. Now I have to push on the sensitive parts of my left to help my muscles and tendons recover. That is some BS. AmIRight? I wish it was all rainbows and butterflies and donuts and glory after running a full freaking marathon.
Vegas 100% doesn’t care if I’m sore or dead or alive or what. He is like the Honey Badger and doesn’t give a F.
In fancy food news, I made chicken fajitas for dinner because Ben is here and I’m trying to impress him with my Mexican cooking skills. Si se puede.
Wine. Always add wine. It pairs well with food.
Dessert was a gift from the friends that came over Friday – Girl Scout Candy?! I didn’t know this was a thing. We already demolished the chocolate covered almonds they brought too! Busted.

I’m headed to the gym today, but this class is usually pretty heavy on leg exercises. I’m not sure how I’ll do, but I’ll try my best. I also really need to get to yoga and stretch my life away.
