How To Remove Plantar Warts Naturally: No Doctor, No Meds, No Surgical Procedure

I was very worried when I discovered my son had two plantar warts on his foot. After Googling horrific images of plantar warts and reading stories of failed medical treatments done by doctors (including cutting recurring warts out to the bone), I decided I would not put my son through that.

Warts are caused by the HPV virus, and since I already keep powerful, natural antivirals on hand in my home, I decided this would be the best course of action. My husband did not agree with me taking the natural route — he wanted me to take our son to the doctor, but there are too many wart patients who have to keep going back for painful treatment. I was determined use natural methods to attack the wart and kill it at its root by using a triple treat combo of natural ointments.

PLANTAR WART REMOVAL DIRECTIONS

You will use a Q-tip to apply these in the following sequence. Set aside a total time of 10-15 minutes each day to massage these natural ointments into the wart and its surrounding area. Try not to touch the wart with your hands and be consistent with this (every single day) for best results.

Step #1: Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)

Use ACV to prepare the wart to receive the oils by first massaging the vinegar into the skin of the wart (using a soaked Q-tip). This helps to soften the area so the oils can better absorb into the wart. ACV has some impressive antiviral properties, including stomach flu prevention.

Step #2: Oregano Oil

Oregano oil is considered to be the post powerful antibiotic found in nature. Soak a new Q-tip in Oregano Oil and apply to the wart area, same as you did the ACV. Massage the oil in and, if the Q-tip top starts to degrade, use the cardboard part underneath to gently push on the wart. Over time, this will help dislodged the wart. Warning: Oregano oil is very hot. Do not apply it your eyes, genitals or other sensitive areas. You will regret it greatly if you do. If the oil is too hot on your skin, dilute it with a carrier oil, such fractionated coconut oil, almond oil or grapeseed oil.

Step #3 Tea Tree Oil

Tea Tree Oil is a powerful anti-fungal, and it proved to be the knockoff punch we needed in combination with the ACV and Oregano oil. Tea tree oil helped to dry the warts out. Use this as the final step, and also apply more tea tree oil to the wart in the morning before you put on your socks. Tea tree oil has a very strong smell, but it quickly fades once you’re done treating the area. The smell won’t hang on you all day.

PLANTAR WART REMOVAL SIDE NOTES

  1. While the wart was dying, the skin underneath the wart was simultaneously healing. If you Google medical wart removal, you will see a bloody, gory mess. As warts are frozen or cut off, the surrounding skin is bleeding and damaged. However, with this natural method, my son’s skin had no redness or bleeding, and the crater that was left where the wart fell out was almost healed within one day to reveal new skin.
  2. Be consistent and be patient. It took approximately 3 months for my son’s warts to fall off. In the beginning you might feel like this regimen is not working, but stay the course and you will be happy with the final results.
